On October 30 and 31, 2013 National Grid and the Center for Economic Growth (CEG) collaborated to present “Tech Valley and Beyond: Growing Sustainable Infrastructure at the Speed of Life,” a regional infrastructure forum with participation by 200 stakeholders representing business, government, education and community groups designed to identify and take action on infrastructure issues and challenges facing the region.

Stakeholders co-designed infrastructure solutions to be prioritized and implemented to enhance economic development in Tech Valley. It incorporated the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Process, facilitated by David Cooperrider, Ph.D., and stakeholders were encouraged to build consensus on the region’s future, maximize its potential and establish a process so the right infrastructure will be in place where it’s needed, at the right time and cost.
